Intimate lakefront wedding in Michigan :: Katy & Dave

Katy and Dave tied the knot on the shores of Lake Michigan, just a few miles north of Saint Joseph, in Benton Harbor.
The beaches in this part on Southwest Michigan are spectacular and secluded, perfect for an intimate wedding celebration like this one, with only a few close family members and friends. Even though small, the wedding of Katy and Dave was beautiful and elegant.
The weather was perfect, the view spectacular, the live piano music romantic and the company charming. Everybody had a good time, even Mikey, the flower dog, who enjoyed it very much, especially playing with the bride's shoes on the beach.
From the little details you can guess that the couple is also in love with France and that's where they are  heading for their honeymoon.
To keep up with the French theme, one of the deserts was French macarons. They looked perfect and tasted as good, if not better than the macarons you get in Paris. All the delicious deserts and the wedding cake were the creation of Bit of Swiss Bakery in Stevensville.  Tim Foley of Bread Bar in Benton Harbor  was invited to be a chef for the event. Every great party has to have a great food and this one was one great party.
